Bud New 

Wayne S. "Bud" Wieting
Funeral Director

Wayne S. "Bud" Wieting is a licensed funeral director & embalmer in the state of Wisconsin, and holding a national funeral directors license since 1975. Bud has been married to his wife Barbara since 1978, and they have 3 daughters, a son, an AFS daughter from Spain, 4 sons-in-law, a daughter-in-law, 2 grandsons, and 5 granddaughters. He has lived in Chilton since 1976, holding memberships in the National Funeral Directors Association, the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association, the Fox River Valley Funeral Directors Association, the Lakeshore Funeral Directors Association, and The International Order of the Golden Rule, where he is currently serving on the board of directors. Bud and his wife Barb are active members of Peace Evangelical & Reformed Church in Potter, Wisconsin. He served for fourteen years on the church council, and as congregation president for six of those years. He is currently serving on the church's building and grounds committee, the missions committee, the pastor parish committee, and the gospel music festival committee. Bud serves as chairman on the board of directors for The Calumet Medical Center in Chilton, and also on its finance committee. Bud has been active in the local Boy Scout Troop 810 since 1988, serving on the Scout Committee, and in the roles of Cub Scout, Weblos, and Boy Scout leader. Hobbies include, camping, hunting, restoring old cars, fixing cars, and being an amateur arborist. He and his wife have been active in the Chilton business community, starting a used car dealership, an automotive parts & service center, and developing a residential subdivision. Bud is also an active member in the Kiel community where they own a second funeral home, which was built in 2003. He is an active member of the Kiel Kiwanis Club, currently serving as president, and the Kiel Area Association of Commerce, also serving as president. Bud and his family have also developed a 27 acre commercial subdivision in Kiel named Fairlane Park. Bud was also a former member of the Chilton Fire Department, serving as Head Fire Inspector for the Chilton Fire District. He was a member and also served on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Fire Inspectors Association, and was active in Public Fire Safety Education.

 

 

Daniel New

Daniel Wieting
Funeral Director

Daniel W. Wieting is a licensed funeral director & embalmer in the state of Wisconsin, and has held a National Funeral Director license since 2001. Daniel married his high school sweetheart Jamie in October of 2003. Both he and his wife are originally Chilton natives and Dan has returned to the area in 2001 after living and working in the Milwaukee/Waukesha, Plymouth, and West Bend areas. Dan is a graduate of Chilton High School and attended the University of Wisconsin Green Bay before graduating in 2001 from Milwaukee Area Technical College with a degree in Mortuary Science. Dan holds membership in the National Funeral Directors Association, the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association, the Fox River Valley Funeral Directors Association where he is a member of the board of directors, the Lakeshore Funeral Directors Association, and The International Order of the Golden Rule. Daniel is an active member of Peace Evangelical & Reformed Church in Potter where he serves on the Mission Committee. He is also an active member of Optimist International and serves on the Board of Directors for the Chilton Club. His hobbies include camping, skiing, brewing beer, and working on cars. Dan is currently involved in the restoration of a 1950 Studebaker Land Cruiser.

 

Pat F 

Patrick L. Fahrenkrug
Community Outreach Director  Licensed Funeral Director

Patrick has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the state of Wisconsin since 1994.  He was born and raised in Neenah, Wisconsin and has lived in Sherwood, Wisconsin since 2005.  Patrick serves as the Community Outreach Director for the funeral homes and is also an Advanced Planning Consultant.  He has owned and operated Forrest Run Pet Cemetery & Cremation Service in Sherwood since 2004 and spends much of his free time tending to the business and the cemetery grounds.  Patrick is a member of the Wisconsin and National Funeral Directors Associations and is also working towards attaining his Certified Funeral Service Practitioner accreditation.  When not working at the funeral home or the pet cemetery, he enjoys his job as a floor manager at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton.  Patrick has two brothers, a sister, 10 nieces and nephews and two great-nephews.

 

Jamie L. Wieting
Manager
Jamie L. Wieting is a licensed educator in the State of Wisconsin and manages the day to day operations of Wieting Family Funeral Home.  Jamie married Daniel Wieting in October of 2003.  She is a graduate of Chilton High School, and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  Jamie is currently furthering her education, working toward earning a degree in Mortuary Science.  Jamie is an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul and devotes much of her time to caring for and raising her three children.  Her hobbies include camping, skiing, and spending time with her family.

Daniel & Jamie's Children

Alydia, Eliot, & Iyla Wieting are the children of Daniel and Jamie Wieting.  Alydia, age 4, attends 4-K at Trinity Lutheran School in Rantoul.  She enjoys singing, camping, and helping her Daddy wash vehicles.  Eliot, age 3, keeps everyone on their toes.  He really likes camping a lot, playing with his cars, and being outside.  Iyla, age 1, loves watching her brother and sister play, and learns a lot from watching them.

Richard "Dick" Riesterer
Assistant

Richard "Dick" Riesterer has been assisting at Wieting Family Funeral Home since 2007.  Prior to that, he spent 40 years in the automobile business, including 38 years in Sales and Sales Management roles at the local GM dealership.  During that time, Dick developed many, multi-generational relationships with the fine folks of Calumet and Manitowoc County, which serves him well in his new role with the Wietings.  Born and raised in St. Nazianz, Dick graduated from St. Gregory High School, and studied at Sacred Heart Seminary in Oneida.  He also spent six years with the U.S. Army Reserve.  He is married to the former Mary Ludwig of Chilton, and has lived in Chilton for the past 16 years.  Dick has four grown sons, three step-children, and 14 grandchildren.  In addition to assisting at Wieting Family Funeral Home, Dick volunteers at a local nursing home and horse farm.  He enjoys yard work and attending all of the exciting events his children and grandchildren are involved in.
