Helen Johanna (Munsche) Korth passed away peacefully on December 2, 2017.

Helen was born in Neenah on November 10, 1922 to Charles and Amelia (Schoenheit) Munsche. She attended Trinity Lutheran grade school and graduated from Neenah High School in 1939. She worked in the lab at various paper companies in Neenah and 3M in St. Paul, MN before attending St. Agnes School of Nursing (now Marion College) in Fond du Lac. She became a Registered Nurse at Theda Clark in 1948. While working there, she met an orderly, Aldon Korth, who became the love of her life. They married in 1951 and moved to Rochester, MN where she worked at Mayo Clinic while Aldon completed school. They moved to Allouez where they raised their three children until moving to their retirement home on Lake Winnebago in 1978.

Throughout their marriage, they enjoyed camping, traveling, and life on Lake Winnebago. In retirement, they spent many winters traveling the US and Canada in their RV and relaxing in Rockport/Fulton, TX.

She had a thirst for knowledge and loved to read, do crossword puzzles, and write stories and poetry. She loved to laugh and was happiest when spending time with her family. She has passed her love, joy, and deep faith on to her children and grandchildren.

Helen is survived by her husband of 66 years, Aldon; children: Randall (Judith) Korth, Roxanne (Randall) Dyle, both of Green Bay, Bryan (Susan) Korth, Saginaw, MI; grandchildren: Karlene (Christian Vargas) Dyle, Madison, WI, Korissa (Vincent) Zanrosso, San Diego, CA; great-grandchild: Mateo Vargas; sister-in-law: Althea (Gerald) Abitz, Luxembourg, WI; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Amelia; her siblings and their spouses: Charles Munsche, Ernest (Renata) Munsche, William (Stella) Munsche, and Irene (Robert) Evensen.

Funeral services are set for 11:00am on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at St. Luke Lutheran Church of Chilton. Friends may call at the church from 9:30am until 10:45am on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. A committal service will be held following the funeral service at the St. Luke Parish Cemetery.

The family would like to express special thanks to Kim Keisner for all of her love and support.

Too many to mention, but in recent years after stopping to visit on our way to the U.P., we were surprised to find Uncle Aldon and Aunt Helen in Copper Harbor with us! We ate an awful lot of ice cream and had a wonderful evening talking and watching Lake Superior.
