Hilda M Moon
Quinney, WI

Hilda M. Moon, age 88, of Quinney, died on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at her home in Quinney.  She was born January 14, 1930 in Antigo, daughter of the late Fred & Edna (Flemming) Kieper.  Hilda married James A. Moon on November 15, 1947 in Neenah; he preceded her in death on January 15, 2001.

Much of her working life, Hilda worked at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein, and had worked for a short period before that at Chilton Metal Products.

Hilda will be fondly remembered as a fun loving grandmother who occasionally lived like a teenager and shared many driving experiences with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed crocheting, camping, and listening to Elvis.  Above all else, she loved her family, especially moments spent around a campfire sharing stories, laughs and each other’s company.

Survivors include her children: James (Patricia) Moon, Jr., Jerry (Gail) Moon, Sandra Goeser, Roxanne (John) Bieck; over 30 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a brother: Donald Kieper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law: Ron Goeser; and many siblings and their spouses.

Funeral service will be at 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018.
