Aug. 7, 1919 - Jan. 25, 2018
Lucille Geiser, 98, of Chilton, died on January 25, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Chilton. She was born August 7, 1919, daughter of Andrew and Theresa (Reinl) Suttner. She married her late husband, Herbert Geiser, on November 14, 1939, at St. Mary Catholic Church (now Good Shepherd Catholic Church) in Chilton.
Lucille was a very hard worker throughout her life on a dairy farm. She put almost as much energy into her faith; she was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Within the church she was part of the Mission Society with whom she made quilts, a member of the Christian Mothers, and she volunteered for the Salvatorians.
Lucille loved gardening in her yard when she had free time, growing flowers and trimming her shrubs. She also had an affection for animals, especially cats. Following her husband’s death she spent Sundays with her girlfriends going out dancing.
Lucille is survived by her sisters-in-law, Lydia Larsen and Stella Nicolay, and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert, and her parents, Andrew and Theresa.
