Ann M Gruett
Fond du Lac, WI

Ann M. Gruett, age 56, of  Fond du Lac, died on March 21, 2019, at Harbor Haven in Fond du Lac. She was born June 14, 1962, in Chilton, daughter of the late Clayton and Dorothy Christopherson.

Ann was down to earth and a straight-shooter; she wasn’t afraid to tell people if she didn’t like something. She taught her son to have common sense and to “think before you act.” She enjoyed spending summer time outdoors and walking around the town of Chilton. She read romance novels, worked on crossword puzzles, and liked sitting down to watch a movie, especially anything starring Keanu Reeves.

Ann is survived by her son, Tim Gruett; sister: Tammy (Kevin) Schnell; brothers: Leroy Christopherson, David (Donna) Christopherson, Roger (Diane) Christopherson, and Alan (Deb) Christopherson; sister-in-law: Patti Christopherson; nieces and nephews: Jamie, Jeremy, Julie, Jesse, Scott, Curt, Kim, Adam, Brooke, Jeanne, Nicole, and Carrie; and four special friends, her dogs: Autumn, Amber, Allie, and Sneaker.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Dorothy; sister: Joan Wagner; brothers: James Christopherson and Eugene Christopherson; and a niece: Tracy.

A funeral service is set for 11:00am on Friday, March 29, 2019, at the St. Martin Lutheran Church in Chilton (717 Memorial Dr.), with Rev. Thomas Schmitt presiding. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) on Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, with a prayer service to follow, and from 10:00am until 10:45am at the church on the day of service. Burial will take place at the Eaton Union Cemetery at 2:00pm.
I did not know Ann but when you lose a loved one...it hurts and is sad. Not for them, as they moved to their permanent home which is far greater than earth. She will be missed by many. Please accept my sincere condolences. Your family is in my prayers as you go through this difficult time. Thank God for memories! God's peace to all.
