Carol M Geiser
Chilton, WI

Carol M. Geiser, age 77, of Chilton, died on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at her home in the Town of Brothertown.  She was born March 1, 1943 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Earl & Marie (Schmidt) Hackbarth.  She married Jerome Geiser on October 7, 1967 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hilbert.

Carol always had a gift for numbers and applied her knowledge as a legal secretary, assisted people with their taxes and was an invaluable resource to Geiser Brother’s Construction. In retirement she also assisted Schmidt’s Clothing with bookkeeping activities.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and served as Treasurer of the American Legion Auxiliary in New Holstein.  Carol was well known as a great cook who  also tended to her garden each and every summer.  She and Jerome took time together to go on trips and Carol always looked forward to family get togethers wherever they would be.

Survivors include her husband: Jerome; her children: Kevin Geiser and his good friend, Lori Knoespel, Julie (Trevor) Peterson, Trina (Vaughn) Haberland, Marla (Joe) Reiser, Darin (Amanda) Geiser; 10 grandchildren: Brittany & Cody Peterson, Heather & Kenny Haberland, Caryn, Leah & Nolan Reiser, Morgan, Alison & Rowan Geiser; and her siblings: Sandy Hackbarth, Roger Hackbarth, Ken (Julie) Hackbarth, Gene (Kathy) Hackbarth, Dennis Hackbarth, Glenn Hackbarth & Dale (Joyce) Hackbarth.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; a brother: Clayton Hackbarth; an infant sister: Diane Hackbarth; and sisters-in-law: Lori Hackbarth, Judith Hackbarth & Karen Hackbarth.

A time of visitation will take place on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and close with a Parish Vigil Service.  A private Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.  Burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Chilton.  Those who wish may watch a live stream of the service or view flowers given by clicking HERE as more information becomes available.  There will also be an archived video to be watched in the future.
