Auntie Perrie was a shining star. Yes, she was so darling (we all loved that small woman in her bold, colorful outfits!) and so sweet (such bright smiles and happy laughter). She was also steadfast and true. Her presence and friendship saw our family through the most difficult times. Auntie is no longer in this world, but I will always remember her. And in remembering her, I know a wonderful, inspiring example of how to make this world a better place. Thank you so much for everything, Auntie Perrie. Your legacy lives on...

I am not very good in expressing my feelings, but I found a little something that comes close…

In loving memory of my Auntie and Godmother Perrie,

The day you left and gained your wings
My heart just broke in two

I wish you could have stayed with me
But Heaven needed you

You left me with the memories
And I love you dearly still
No matter how much time goes by
You know I always will

You were a very special person
With kindness in your heart
And the love we had together
Grows stronger now we’re apart

I know I cannot bring you back
Although I wish it everyday
But a piece of me went with you
The day you went away.

Your Godson.

Dearest Perrie, you will be missed by so very many! You were the gentlest most caring and loving person I had the privilege of knowing and working with. May you rest in peace Perrie knowing you were loved and adored by many more than you could imagine. Always a kind word for everyone you knew including my children who also remember you fondly. God be with you Perrie, you will certainly be missed!
