Clare L Stroobants
Chilton WI
Clare L. Stroobants, age 91, of Chilton, died on June 5, 2025, at her home, surrounded by love. She was born February 10, 1934, daughter of the late Joseph and Leona (Guelig) Olejniczak. Shortly after high school Marvin caught her eye with his beautiful smile (and motorcycle). They were married at St. John’s church in Wayside and made a beautiful life together. While Clare worked many years at the family business, her true passion was taking care of her family, gardening, cooking and feeding the birds. Clare loved going on trips with her daughters and daughters-in-law, especially if the casino was involved. She was proud of all her children and spent many hours watching their children. Clare was known to have a bit of a sweet tooth, so the grandchildren were never shorted on treats and baked goods. Later in life she enjoyed watching all of the wild life from her window and would let us know each day what she saw. The squirrels eating from the bird feeder were her favorite. If you asked her she would say she was a dog person, but for the last few years she converted and grew to love her cat Izzy.
Clare is survived by her children: Steve (Diane) Stroobants, Lisa (Lee) Bjork, Sue (Doug) Schulz, Keith (Marlys) Stroobants, Kim Stroobants, Daniel Stroobants, and Tracy (Paul) Breckheimer; 19 Grandchildren: Derek Stroobants, Grant Stroobants(Jason Fowler), Marc (Jess) Stroobants, Madison Bjork(Noah Stovich), Stephanie Cisneros, Kayla (Dave) Bembenek, Kyle Schulz and special friend Erica, Taylor(Yahir) Lugo Oquendo, Erica (Andy) Gutierrez, Alison(Laura) Stroobants, Bill Stroobants, Jared (Noelle) Stroobants, Ryan Loose, Brittany(Mike) Wilson, Megan Bartel, Patrick( Lianne) Breckheimer, Danielle (Hunter) Hoffman, Julia Breckheimer, Marcus Breckheimer; 25 great grandchildren: Samuel, Collin, Zachary, Wesley, Sienna, Audrey, Charles, Bradley, Marin, Landon, Imogen, Stella, Margot, Clyde, Gabriel, Oliver, Aurelia, Archer, Ivy, Eddie, Warner, Mitchell, Johnathan, Thomas and Amelia! Brothers and sisters: Margaret Janssen, Mike Olejniczak, Paul Olejniczak, Kathy (Dennis) Zwiers, Joe (Margie) Olejniczak, Mark (Phillip) Olejniczak. A sister-in-law: Darlene(Francis) Midlo. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
