Craig J. Kobriger, age 39, of Appleton, died on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in Appleton. He was born November 27, 1983 in Chilton, son of Paul & Sheryl (Doxtator) Kobriger.
During his life, Craig worked as a mover for his cousin’s moving company in the Appleton area.
He enjoyed time spent outside enjoying fresh air while he played disc golf at various courses. Craig also appreciated his time spent in his garden especially tending to his various hot peppers. With a passion for music, Craig loved to play his guitar, but also appreciated quiet times spent doodling and drawing. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and was looking forward to this current season.
Survivors include his parents: Paul & Sheryl; his children: Jade & Willow Kobriger; a sister: Crystal McCone; and his niece and nephews: Braden & Brenner Cole, Zeke, Medea & Walter McCone. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister: Constance “Frankie” Cole-Kobriger along with other extended family members.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. A time of gathering and visitation will take place Monday at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 10:45 am. At the time of the service, there will be a link available above to watch a livestream or archived recording of the service, view a memorial video or see photos of flowers and gifts given to the family.
Condolences
I grew up with Craig and kept in touch with him through all these years he was an amazing person and had so much life in him. He's been there for me in my darkest moments I'll always remember what an amazing friend he was to me. I'll kiss our 4am conversation the most. My heart goes out to you Sheryl and Paul.

I met Craig in treatment at D.a.c.c. He was a funny down to earth guy. We shared many days talking about our goals and how we were gonna do the right thing and be family men. We always helped each other get thru the hard times. I'm sorry friend I missed your call Saturday and I'm left hurt inside. I hope your at peace I love you bro. Condolences to the family you lost a good hearted man
