Debora A Rohr
Appleton WI
Debora A. Rohr, age 67, of Appleton, died on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center in Menasha. She was born July 28, 1958 in Neenah, daughter of Donna Mae (Schroeder) Rohr and the late Richard William Rohr.
With her grandfather being blind,Debora volunteered time in her younger years with an organization for the blind where they were taken to different social activities like bowling or attending shows.
While working at the paper mill, Debbie met Scott Parsons. For their first date, they went to Sault Ste. Marie and rode the famous Snow Train. It was such an amazing first date, Debbie’s heart was completely devoted to him for the rest of her life.
In her free time, she enjoyed taking trips to the casino or heading out on the motorcycle with Scott to go on a joy ride, or travel across the country. She also liked quiet moments of reading, working on puzzles to keep her mind sharp or heading to her parents’ cottage in Oconto for a little rest and relaxation. She especially loved Christmas, this time of the year, she would sit contently watching all of the Hallmark Christmas Movies on television.
Survivors include her partner in life, Scott Parsons; her mother: Donna Mae Rohr; her siblings: Katharine (John) Merkel, Margaret Rohr; a nephew and Godchild: Richard John Bourasaw; and Scott’s siblings: Sheri (Mike) Walber & Darrell (Christine) Parsons. She is further survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; an infant sibling: Mary Ann Rohr; and Scott’s parents: Charles & Charlaine Parsons.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton with Rev. Philip Bridges officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Gardens in Appleton. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 10:45 am.
