Deborah L Voigt
Deborah Lynn “Debbie” Voigt, age 61, of Hilbert, died on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Theda Care Regional Medical Center in Neenah following a 21 month battle with cancer. She was born April 12, 1957, daughter of the late Walter & Carol (Zarnoth) Olp. Debbie married Jeffrey “Jeff” Voigt on May 1, 1976 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul.
Debbie proudly worked at Ariens Corporation in Brillion and was looking forward to her goal of 50 years of dedication.
She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hilbert and played local league volleyball where she forged many lifelong friendships. Her love of sports were revised once her grandchildren were involved in their many activities and she became their greatest fan.
As a consummate entertainer, Debbie reveled in cooking and baking in order to feed her family and friends making sure to go “over the top” in preparation so no one would be left hungry. She also enjoyed time spent Up North at her camper where she could also entertain friends and family with bountiful spreads and rousing games of Campground Bingo.
Above all else, Debbie was most passionate about her family. In all that she did, she did so completely selflessly in order to provide for and make sure that those she loved had everything that they needed.
Survivors include her husband: Jeff; her children: Corey (Trisha) Voigt, Brooke Voigt; her grandchildren: Josie, Elsie, Clara & Dravyn Voigt; her sisters: Cynthia Loose and her special friend, Rick “Schmitty” Schmidt, Laurie (Dave) Bethke, Roxanne (Donald) Evans; and a sister-in-law: Sherry (John) Kees. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents: Walter & Carol Olp.
Funeral service will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at St. Peter Lutheran Church (43 N. 3rd St.) in Hilbert with Rev. Joel Brassfield officiating. Burial will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 3:00 pm until 6:30 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

Debbie has always made my daughter and I feel like part of the voigt family. Brooke has been my best friend for many many years and have enjoyed all of the events we got the privilege of joining. I never will forget our trip to the dells, camping or packer family night! Debbie's bean salad was my favorite and she always sent Brooke home with some for me. She gave everything for others and will be greatly missed. Sending all our love to your family!

Shortly after moving to our "Summer Place" in Door County, we were greeted by Jeff and Debbie, and were always welcomed at their table and campfires. We have many memories of good times together with their children and grandchildren. We will always cherish how special Debbie made us feel. We send love and comfort to the family.
