Donald Leo Breckheimer, age 84, of Hilbert, died on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh.  He married Mary Woelfel on June 6, 1959 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton.  

Survivors include his wife: Mary; children: David (Amy) Breckheimer, Jane (Keith) Ladewig, Sandy (Greg) Oliver, Paul (Tracy) Breckheimer, Mary (David) Swichtenberg, Randy (Kris) Breckheimer, Mike (Kelly) Breckheimer, Mark (Danielle) Breckheimer; grandchildren: Craig (Seval) Breckheimer, Brianne (Aaron) Sable, Kayla Breckheimer, Stephanie Breckheimer, Troy (Leah) Breckheimer, Amanda (Bryan) Cullen, Matthew (Kayla) Bartel, Michael (Jennifer) Bartel, Stacy Bartel, Brandon Kirk, Kayleigh Oliver, James Oliver, Megan (Christopher) Bartel, Patrick Breckheimer, Danielle Breckheimer, Julia Breckheimer, Marcus Breckheimer, Rachel Swichtenberg, Tyler Swichtenberg, Olivia Breckheimer, Trent Breckheimer, Alex Breckheimer, Jade Breckheimer, Reed Breckheimer, Gwen Breckheimer, Maverick Breckheimer & Axel Breckheimer; 16 great grandchildren; a sister: Ione (Eugene) Meyers; and siblings-in-law: Marvin Woelfel, Daniel Woelfel, Stephen Woelfel, Patricia Scholz and Roger Woelfel.  Donald is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his parents: Leo and Maude Breckheimer; his in-laws: John & Marcella Woelfel; a daughter: Karen (Carl) Kirk; his siblings:  Dale Breckheimer, Earl Breckheimer, Gene Breckheimer; and his brother-in-law: Michael Woelfel.  

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert with Rev. Michael Betley officiating.  Entombment will take place at the Appleton Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.  A time of visitation will take place at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  A vigil service will be held at the close of the visitation Monday evening at the Wieting Family Funeral Home.  To view a memorial video in honor of Donald, or flowers given to the family, please click HERE

We couldn't, have asked for better neighbors than Don and Mary. We had so much fun together traveled to away packer games and Germany with them. We could never keep up with them on our biking exercursions. Lots of laughs at lions functions. Don always had a story to keep us entertained. He was a true friend and raised a great bunch of kids. He will be missed
