He was born in Neenah on January 7, 1953 to the late Peter & Cecilia (Pritzl) Pitsch. He married Debra Denny on October 8, 1983 in Hilbert, Wisconsin.
Well known as a joyous man who would frequently crack a joke, Don enjoyed time out fishing, tending to his garden and bonfires. He wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to dance and was quick to share a cold beer with those he loved.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Kenneth & Dennis Pitsch; 5 sisters: Pauline Remme, Joan Pitsch, Lorraine Tews, Donna Westfahl, Rose Schafer Ertl, brothers-in-law: Tom Jape, LeRoy Remme, George Tews, Wilbur Schafer, Jerome Ertl; and a sister-in-law: Judy Pitsch.

Condolences
So sorry for your loss. Always enjoyed talking to you and Don when I seen you at Scotty's. I would have rather said it to you in person but I didn't want to cause any disturbance not on my part but maybe my daughters. May God's healing and comforting hand be over you and your family through this time of sorrow. Dave

Don had the most contagious laugh and smile. He was always so full of joy and so funny! So many great memories. You will truly be missed and my heart goes out to all of the family but specifically Debbie. I wish there was something I could type that will help the sorrow you feel but there are no words. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Pitsch Family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Don. I worked many years with him at the mill. Don was always a very nice person with a great sense of humor! He will be missed! Deepest sympathies, Paula Leopold

When my parents died in a car crash, my sister (Pattie) and I came to live with my paternal grandparents, Donnie's mother (Cecelia) and father (Peter). For four critical years in my life (grades 5-8), Donnie was like a brother to me. We did most everything together, went to the same school (St. Margaret Mary's in Neenah), biked everywhere, fished, swam and shared pets. Donnie's nickname was Huck, given to him by his brother Dennis, because he reminded him of Huck Finn. That's how I like to remember him. He was a quiet, but very self assured boy. Even though I was a year older than him I remember always wanting to be as "cool" as him. Donnie, rest with God. Peter
