Gary G. Welch, age 74, of New Holstein, died on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Homestead Care Center in New Holstein. He was born October 27, 1950 in Fond du Lac, son of the late Horace & Lorraine (Popp) Welch.
Gary worked vigilantly at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein while also tending to the herd of beef cattle on the family farm in the Town of New Holstein. The focus on the farm was paramount until he stepped away in 2012 when he started to relax and enjoy life, especially time spent in his beloved recliner.
Survivors include his sister: Christy Welch; his sister-in-law: Linda Welch; and his nephews: Chris, Eddie, & Corey Welch.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother: Edward Welch.
Private family services are being held.

Sorry for your loss. I didn't know you and Gary as well as I knew Eddie. I worked with him as a forklift driver. He called me "shirttail cuz", said we were 4th cousins. My grandma (Elfrieda Draheim) and your grandma were related. I remember her sitting in the livingroom with all the other ladies while us kids all played outside. We didn't know her name so we called her the fuzxy haired lady cause she always had fuzxy hair.
