Glen G Meier

Marytown WI

Glen G. Meier, age 60, of Marytown, died on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan.  He was born June 25, 1965, son of the late John & Carol J. (Hammer) Meier. He married Tina Jandrey on August 29, 2020 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marytown where he had been a lifelong member.

Shortly after his mother died, Glen sold his dairy herd, but continued to raise crops and beef cattle on the land he grew up on and truly loved.  Farming was Glen’s entire life and he cherished each and every day he could live and work where he could call home.  Through his love of the land and farming, he enjoyed collecting old tractors which he could tinker with and share with friends.  When he wasn’t dedicating time on the farm, and whether the water was liquid or frozen, Glen could be found fishing or sturgeon spearing.  He was also never one to pass up a good meal or head out with his wife to visit friends in a local restaurant for an evening out.

Survivors include his wife: Tina; aunts, uncles, cousins, Tina’s family, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother: Gary; and his dear cousin: Eddie Meier.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marytown (10232 County Road G New Holstein, WI 53061) with Rev. Paul Koenig, OFM Cap. officiating.  Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.  A time of visitation will be held at the church on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 9:00 am until 11:45 am.

Glen’s family would like to extend a heartfelt word of ‘Thanks’ to the Sheboygan Lombardi Cancer Center, the Sheboygan Aurora Medical Center and to Steve Hanson and the entire local farming community for all of their help.
