Gloria J. Reese, age 76, of Brillion, died on April 28, 2022 at Willowdale Health Services in New Holstein. She was born July 26, 1945, daughter of the late Ivan (Dorothy) DeLoe and Opal Strouse. On October 14, 1960, she married John Reese in Fox Burg, PA, and together they had eight children whom they raised together in New York.
Gloria loved the outdoors and appreciated nature. After her nursing/farming career she took a job at a greenery so she could be around plants and flowers year-round. She had a green thumb and loved gardening. She liked to get out to hunt, fish, and snowmobile. Her caring nature extended past nursing to her family, even helping raise her grandkids after her own children were grown. When she had to be inside she liked sewing and cooking.
Gloria is survived by her children: Becky (Pat) Wynn, Johnny (Betty) Reese, Kathryn Maine, Karen (Roger) Simmons, Theresa Shea, Robert “Charlie” Reese, and Wendy Thurber; 23 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and siblings: Ivan "Hank" (Linda) DeLoe of Westfield, NY, Willard (Lindsey) DeLoe of Florida, David (Terri) DeLoe of Westfield, NY, and Diane Crespo of Dunkirk, NY. Gloria also has many nieces, nephews, as well great-nieces and nephews.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents: Ivan (Dorothy) and Opal; a daughter: Tina Reese, a daughter-in-law; Rosanne Reese, and a son-in-law; Ron Maine.
A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.

we lived in the same apartment complex in hilbert and she was always fun to be around. she will be missed
