Grace T Hoerth
Menasha, WI

Grace Theresa Hoerth, age 22, of  Menasha, died on Friday, August 27, 2021 following an 8 year battle with extreme physical and mental pain.  She was born December 27, 1998 in Appleton, daughter of Wayne & Mary (Weber) Hoerth.

Grace was a woman who loved the fine arts. In school she performed in musicals and  enjoyed singing and dancing.  Her love of music was her passion and she relished in the joy it brought, not only to her, but everyone around her.

Grace was a strong advocate for mental health and the LGBTQ community. She enjoyed video and board games, photography, floating in the pond, walking through nature, and laser tag. She loved crafts and spent tons of time with her godmother and aunts creating costumes and dresses. Her artistic ability was shown through her elaborate make-up masterpieces and her shopping prowess resulted in a plethora of shoes and hats.

The annual family camping, Hoerth camping, and Weber camping was always a highlight, with songs around the campfire, themed meals, and lots of laughter.

Grace loved magic, whether it was in a story or in the poetry that she sought out. She proclaimed herself a proud Gryffindor, and was every bit as magical as the stories, poetry, and music that she surrounded herself with.

With a quick wit, a full laugh and a beautiful smile, Grace was forever ready to bring a smile to people’s faces. She lovingly cared for her 4 cats and any kitten that may cross her path, all while knowing that the greatest love and the greatest joy she could receive was that from her family and closest friends.

Survivors include her parents: Wayne & Mary; her siblings: Andrew Hoerth, Sarah Hoerth & Mason Hoerth; her boyfriend: Aleister Schotz; her maternal grandmother: Terry Weber; and her paternal grandfather: Clarence Hoerth. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

Grace was preceded in death by her grandfather: Ken Weber; her grandmother: Colleen Hoerth; uncles: Robert Hoerth & Layne Popp; and her cousins: Kyle Popp, Nicholas Kleinhans, &  Adam Hoerth.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton with Rev. Grace was a lovely young woman. Her artwork was full of imagination and beauty. She was a part of our family for the past three years. Her presence at our Sunday family dinners will be greatly missed. We saw her struggles and we saw her strengths. Rest In Peace sweet Grace!

CAROL SCHOTZ (Aleister’s grandmother ) - Aug. 30, 2021

Last summer I was working from Mary and Wayne's house for a few days when I got a call from my Dad asking me to stop by to help him with a project. As I was leaving I walked past Grace, who was relaxing on the porch, and invited her to come along. I made sure to let Mary know that I was kidnapping her daughter and her response was that she was going too. I loved how Grace was up for anything, even when she wasn't feeling her best. I will miss her incredible strength, her kindness, and her bright smile. She was so deeply loved and always will be.
