Jane L Giesen
Chilton, WI

Jane Giesen passed away after a long illness on March 25th at her home in Chilton. Prior to moving to Chilton, she had made her home in Brothertown for most of her adult life. It was there she was raising five sons along with her husband John Giesen until his passing in 1977, at which point Jane took over the enervating job of raising them herself, never missing a beat in the process.

Jane’s family includes:

Dan and his wife Terry, along with Dan’s three children and his five grandchildren,
Duane, who passed away in 2006
John and his wife Lisa and their little bird
Paul and his friend Robin, along with Paul’s three children
Randy and his friend Michele

Jane will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but we accept that after her long, wonderful, sometimes difficult, always amazing life, it was time for her to go on that next, joyful life.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 29th from 1:00 PM to 4:15 PM, with a service at 4:30 PM officiated by Deacon Dennis Bennin at Wieting Family Funeral Home in Chilton.  Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 31st  at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Jericho.

Jane’s family would like to thank the incredible staff of angels at Libby’s House, who took such good care of Jane in her last years. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Jane Giesen.
A lady with a heart like a shining diamond . I love you mom. And my other mom Joan thank you for my life.

Jane and I bowled on same team for many years and we rode to work together. She was a great person and will be missed. Prayers and thoughts to all of Jane's family.

My very first memory of Jane is when I was young and going to her house with my sister Lisa. There was always a pan of bars or some kind of goodies sitting on the countertop in the entry way.
After the birth of my daughter Jordan, she and I would go visit "Grandma Jane". We didn't visit as much as I had hoped, but each visit was surly treasured.
Jane would walk around her yard telling me proudly about her plants and garden and then she and I would go through recipes. Boy, we could have sat at her kitchen table for hours going through them. Every single year I use one special recipe she had given me and fondly think of Jane.
Love you
