Janice M Goeser

Janice M. Goeser, age 90, of Stockbridge, died on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center in Menasha.  She was born March 2, 1935 in the Town of Woodville, daughter of the late William & Regina (Schmitt) Rolf.   

On April 22, 1952, Janice married Gregory Goeser at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stockbridge and the couple farmed together in the Town of Stockbridge until retiring in 1986. 

Always the hard worker, Janice worked a variety of jobs during her lifetime.  She was an awesome mother, who devoted her entire life to her family and their every need. Janice lovingly and meticulously cooked delicious meals. Janice spent hours on her family’s genealogy ensuring her children knew their family lineage in detail. Before she was married the “Tony Wonder Band” asked her to be their lead singer.  Janice had a beautiful voice. She was a voracious reader, loved trying new restaurants, shopping, always on the lookout for something special to spoil her children and the grandchildren.    Janice’s family was her life, family times were so important to her, and she treasured every moment with them. 

Survivors include her children: Karen (Norbert) Lauer, Jeffrey (Karen) Goeser, Lori Endries; her grandchildren: Beth (Austin) Stetson and their children, Matthew, Caleb, Chase and Blake, Randy (Tami) Goeser and their children, Leigha (Special Friend, Issac Bartel) and Brett, Greg (Mary) Endries and their children, Nolan and Bryant, Kristi (Ty) Strebelinski and their children, Mason, Henry and Levi, and Traci Endries; and her siblings: Lila Lefeber, Larry Rolf and Susan Rolf;  her godchildren: Susan Rolf and Bill Rolf.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.   

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Gregory; daughters: Lynn Schabach and her infant daughter, Patty Goeser;  great grandchild: Ethan Stetson; her siblings: Monica (William) Schmitz, Robert Rolf, Luke (Mary) Rolf, Gerald Rolf, Ronald Rolf, Rose (Cletus) Dickrell, David Rolf, Allen Rolf, Dennis Rolf; and her siblings-in-law: Walter Lefeber, Carrie (Douglas) Stevens, Nora Hawley, Gertrude (Ronald) Levknecht, Paul (Joan) Goeser, Sylvia (John) Schroven, Marie (Frederick) Mayer, Bill (Elaine) Goeser;  goddaughter: Donna Lefeber.   

Janice’s family would like to extend a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to the Stockbridge First Responders, the Meals on Wheels volunteers and their special drivers, the nurses and staff of Generations Hospice, the entire staff at Oakridge Gardens, and Janice’s caring neighbors Amanda & Bryan. 
Donations given in the name of Janice M. Goeser will be used according to the family wishes, including the Stockbridge First Responders. 

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, August 29, 2025 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton with Pastoral Associate, Diane Wickersheim officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Stockbridge.  A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 29, 2025 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home from 9:00 am until 10:45 am.
