Janice M. Kloehn, age 85, of Chilton, died on Monday, August 26, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. She was born January 8, 1939, daughter of the late Carl and Romilda Neuber. On August 17, 1957, she married David Kloehn and together they had five children.
Janice worked hand-in-hand with David on their family farm until they sold their cattle and she went to work at Metal Products. She loved snowmobiling with David, and they took trips across the state, and even the country, just to ride the trails. She was a proud member of the Calumet County Snowmobile Club. She became a member of the Red Hat Society and started spending more of her free time reading, enjoying puzzles, and checking Facebook for obituaries and gossip. In recent years, her beloved companion, Pippa, stayed by her side and kept her active.
Janice is survived by her children: Roger (Kelly) Kloehn, Rick (Donna) Kloehn, Dean Kloehn, Don Kloehn, and Diane Ausloos; grandchildren: Erica (Chris), Emily (Andy), Matt (Tasha), Andy (Amanda), Carly (James), Aaron, Amie (Dane), Jackie, Alex (Al), and Adam; 15 great-grandchildren: Autumn, Andi, Austin, Grace, McKenzie, Haley, Lidia, Hugo, James, Awan, Justin, Justice, Taylor, Trevor, and Owen; siblings: Lynda Neuber (significant other, Wally), Vicky (Randy) Schweitzer, and Stephen (Sue) Neuber; and in-laws: Scott Novak and Carolyn (Bob) Ecker.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband, David; her parents: Carl and Romilda Neuber; David's parents Karl & Mildred Kloehn; a grandchild: Abby Ausloos; a sister: Barb Novack; and her beloved companion, Pippa.
Funeral service will be at 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 11:15 am on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
