Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022 2:00pm - 4:45pm Wieting Family Funeral Home 411 W. Main St. Chilton, WI 53014 ![]() Jody L (Schmunck) Juckem Chilton, WI Jody Lynn (Schmunck) Juckem, age 43, of Chilton (Stockbridge), passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2021, at St Elizabeth’s Hospital, after a hard fight with Covid.
Jody was born November 27, 1978, to Debra and James Schmunck in Kenosha, Wisconsin. After losing her father at the young age of 12, she was raised with love by her mother Debra and her stepfather Robert Spain. Later in her life, Jody was blessed with her beautiful daughter, Ashlyn Rose Bouchard and added her beautiful stepdaughter, Santana Kettner, to her family. Over the years Jody found her soulmate and the love of her life, Brad C. Juckem, and they were married on December 18, 2021, as he stood by her side at the hospital. Jody had a passion for sales and never shied away from hard physical labor. She was a successful saleswoman in the auto industry for many years. Jody also loved keeping busy working with multiple family businesses throughout her life, which is what she did for her remaining days after leaving her sales career. She was an extremely hard-working woman, that always did her best to never let anything slow her down, even through the numerous medical struggles she faced throughout her life. Jody will always be remembered as a sparkling, free spirit that showered everyone around her with love, affection, glitter and positivity. She was a devoted wife, loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Jody loved spending time with her husband, Brad, daughter, Ashlyn, and soon to be son-in-law, Hunter. Whether they were working on race cars, at the races, doing jobs for the family businesses, having movie nights, caring for their animals or saving more animals they didn’t need, as long as they were doing it together, that was all that mattered to her. Jody’s love for her family and friends was exceptional, always known as the little sister to everyone she loved, only by her size, never by her heart, that was the biggest part of Jody. She was always there for everyone, putting others’ needs before her own, even when she shouldn’t have. Jody had so many things she enjoyed in life and was always up for a new challenge. She loved working in the garden just like her mother and building DIY projects as gifts for everyone around her. Jody always had to be doing something to make everyone else around her happy. She always found so much joy in spending time with family and friends; and she always brought the cheesecake for every family function. Jody loved going out with friends and dancing non-stop, but cherished every moment at home with those she loved most. Jody will be greatly missed, but never forgotten as her love and compassion lives on through each of us that were blessed enough to have known her. Her smile and spunky little attitude will live on forever in our hearts.
