John J. Hoffmann, age 58, of Chilton, died on February 22, 2023, at his residence. He was born April 29, 1964, son of the late Harold and Irene Hoffmann. 

John worked in construction most of his life, building roads and buildings. He enjoyed his work so much that he was always willing to take on an extra shift or put in longer hours. He loved to fish, watch sports, and spend some free time at casinos gambling.

John is survived by his sister, Jean Hoffmann, and his nephew, Nicholas Hoffmann Holden.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Irene, and a sister, Sara Hoffmann.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home in Chilton. Friends may call from 11:00 am until 1:45 pm at the funeral home on the day of service.
