Julie Brandenburg, age 64, of Chilton, died on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at her home in the Town of Charlestown. She was born March 20, 1960 in Chilton, daughter of the late Ralph A. & Rosemary S. (Dohr) Schaff. Julie married Alan Brandenburg on December 15, 1984 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul.
Survivors include her husband: Al; children: Cody Brandenburg, Eli (Ashley) Brandenburg; her siblings: Jeanne Stadler, Jamie (John) Nelson, Jennifer (John) Sucharski, Nick (Sharon) Ryan, Peter (Jean) Schaff, Sam (Peggy) Schaff; siblings-in-law: Carol (Jim) Krepline, Connie (Tom) Loefer, Terry Brandenburg, Glenn (Carmen) Brandenburg, Mark Brandenburg and his special friend, Tammy; Steve Buelow; and her Godchild: Nicole Miller. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her parents-in-law: Elroy & Evie Brandenburg; a brother: Daniel; a sister: Joan Kammerer; siblings-in-law: Bill Stadler, Candice Buelow, Judy Brandenburg; and a nephew-in-law: Dave Liebzeit.
Funeral service will be at 2:30 pm on Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. A time of visitation will take place at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until 2:15 pm on Friday, August 16, 2024 when the service will be held.

Julie had a big heart to help. Julie decorated the inside of my house for Christmas for a few years, she could turn any item into something beautiful. Her gift was decorating. She loved her family with all her heart and would do anything for them. Rest in Peace Julie you were a beautiful soul.

So sorry to hear of Julie’s death! I met her a few times at Jeanne’s partys! Julie was always so much fun….full of life! May you find peace in all the good memories of her!
