Lynn M Riesterer

New Holstein WI

Lynn Marie Riesterer, age 62, of New Holstein, died on Friday, January 16, 2026 at her home.  She was born on October 6, 1963, daughter of Francis “Shorty” & Juanita (Koenig) Riesterer.

After graduation from high school, Lynn worked at Bordens Foods from 1987 until 2000.  She was with the Diner Clowns and enjoyed the time participating in parades, doing telethons, and visiting nursing homes.  She kept her days and time busy by volunteering at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, Sharon Richardson Home, and Oak Creek Assisted Living.

Lynn was a quiet person and loved her cat Toby, she had a special spot in her heart for the Sheboygan Humane Society, where she was the mom to several animals over the years.

Family was important to Lynn and she could always be counted on for a happy birthday wish to all her nieces and nephews, a phone call ending in “I love you”, and never missed a conversation without telling you a joke.  Lynn especially had fond memories of the time she'd spend with her nephew and Godson, Brandon.

Lynn will be missed by her brother, Mark (Lindy) Riesterer; sister-in-law, Renae Riesterer; a special Godson, Brandon Riesterer; many other nieces and nephews; and special friends, Alice Lauersdorf and Nancy Zimmerman who enjoyed spending time with Lynn, helping each other out and taking an occasional road trip together.

Lynn was preceded in death by her brother, Glen Riesterer; and sister, Lori (Jeff) Woelfel.

Memorials are appreciated in the name of, Lynn Riesterer, to the Sheboygan County Humane Society.

I will pray for Lynns soul though I did not know her. Her picture and obituary struck me and I too have a catty named Toby. May God give you all peace in these saddened days, and months ahead. Pray… My Lord and My God, I ask for Your repose on the soul of Lynn. Keep her in Your loving care until we meet again! Amen.
