Marjorie M Krueger

Green Bay WI

Marjorie M. Krueger, age 91, formerly of Chilton, died on September 26, 2025, at Woodside Assisted Living in Green Bay. She was born March 23, 1934, daughter of the late Frederick and Johanna Wiegert. She graduated from Valders High School in 1952. She met Norman Krueger at the county fair and they were married on June 26, 1954.

Marjorie found her happiness from those around her. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed help. She volunteered her time as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 125 in Chilton, as a 4H leader, a founding member of the Kennedy Club, as a Sunday School teacher, and as any help for various Chilton events. Marjorie always had kind words, rarely saying anything negative, and she never pre-judged anyone. She was a woman of strength with deep, enduring faith; there was no quit in her. She loved gardening and took pride in her flower and vegetable gardens, but she cherished nothing more than her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her and she lit up whenever any of them walked in the room.

Marjorie is survived by her sons: Paul (Beth) Krueger and Allan (Mary) Krueger; son-in-law: Don Schmidt; grandchildren: Bryan (Julie) Schmidt, Tracey (Nick) Schmoll, Andrea (Matt) Gardner, Cortney (Chad) Blohm, Rebecca (Adam) Beckman, Wesley (Mackenzie) Krueger, Kole Krueger (Special Friend, Gabi); great-grandchildren: Morgan Schmidt, Ashley Schmidt, Logan Schmoll, Lily Schmoll, Lexi Schmoll, Mason Blohm, Aria Blohm, Cooper Beckman, Camden Beckman; brothers: Frederick (Pat) Wiegert and Don Wiegert; and a brother-in-law: Stan (Kathy) Krueger.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; a  daughter: Sharon Schmidt; parents: Frederick and Johanna Wiegert; Norman’s parents: Bernard and Elsie Krueger; and in-laws: Pat Wiegert, Ray (Alice) Krutzik, and Ellen (Dick) Kumbalek.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at the funeral home on the day of service. At the time of the service and following, there will be a link available for those wishing to watch a memorial video or see pictures of the flowers and gifts given to the family, on their website page provided through wietingfuneralhome.com

The family extends their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Woodside Manor and Heartland Hospice for the care and compassion given to Marge and her family.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in the name of Marjorie Krueger.

Paul, Allan, Families and Sharons Family. Sincere condolences to you.I just saw the obituary. I remember your folks and you kids coming across the road to the Wiegert farm every Sunday! Your mom sent such a nice note when Marty died. She was one sweet lady. Cookie

Margie was married to my cousin Norman. She was always fun to visit with, especially at our family reunions by Aunt Frena Pagel. My sympathy to Stan & family.

My sympathy to the Krueger families. Marge was one of those ladies that never knew the word “no”. RIP my friend.

Sorry for your loss Mary… sending thoughts and prayers ????

Barb Mach (Friend of Mary Krueger) 2025-09-29 19:58:11

I just wanted to extend my condolences on the lost of such a great lady. She was always so gentle and kind to me, even when I was a young and obnoxious teenager. Her drive and generosity knew no bounds and I truly admired her. I know she is with her beloved Norman and daughter Sharon, who left us too soon. Joel and I have been keeping those who loved Margie in our thoughts and prayers. May your good memories bring you all comfort. I love you, Allan and Mary. She was always so proud of your wonderful family.

Paul and the Krueger family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I too, remember your mother as a very patient, sweet and kind lady especially while trying to teach us girls how to sew back in our 4-H days! She was a very pleasant lady. Cherish the memories! Lifting you all in prayer.

Colleen Connors (Friend) 2025-09-29 12:02:15

My deepest sympathies to all the Krueger family. I have fond memories of your mom helping out the 4-H club in Chilton. She taught me sewing along with most of my sisters. I remember her always as patient, kind, and never flustered. She had to be part saint to put up with all those girls learning how to sew. She was blessing to all she met. Again, my condolences to you all. Peggy.
