Mary Ann Eleanor “Toots” Ecker, age 79, of Chilton, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. She was born May 17, 1945 in Brothertown, daughter of the late Leonard & Monica (Nett) Goeser.
After graduating from high school, she married Lawrence Ecker on August 28, 1965 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jericho; they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. Toots began working at Foley Manufacturing in Chilton where she remained until it’s closure. It was at this time she took her love of baking to TJ’s in Sherwood where she could showcase her skills.
Certainly, Toots was an excellent cook and baker who could create wonderful dishes and baked goods for her friends and family to savor, but she was also eager to tend to her garden that produced fresh vegetables and beautiful flowers. Toots could also be found caring for her indoor plants, crafting or working on the most recent puzzle she had found. Above all else, she loved and cherished time spent with her family.
Survivors include her children: Brenda (Dwayne) Nushardt, Brian (Stacy) Ecker; grandchildren: Kevin Nushardt, Kelsey Nushardt and her special friend, Scott Craig, Isabella Ecker, Owen Ecker and his special friend, Brooklyn LaViolette; and her siblings: Tony (Marcia) Goeser, Margaret (Roger) Gerner. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Toots was preceded in death by her parents: Monica and Leonard Goeser; her husband: Lawrence; and her siblings: Robert Goeser, Ronald Goeser, James Goeser, and Marcella Woelfel.
Funeral service will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 5:45 pm on Thursday, July 25, 2024. Burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Stockbridge.

May she rest in peace by friends and family not a day will go by that I won't for get her she was a great lady with a spirit of gold when it came time to cooking baking crafts and her garden she had a golden finger for that stuff she will be missed by many and her memories will carry on with me that we had together as in-laws rest peacefully.
