Mary L Nisleit
Chilton, WI

Mary L. Nisleit, age 73, of Chilton, died on May 14, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October, 28, 1947, daughter of the late Henry and Rose Felsinger. She married Robert Nisleit, Sr., on April 26, 1969, and together they had three children.

Mary worked for the Bemis Company for over 20 years, but her favorite work was behind her bar at the Curve-Inn in Chilton. She loved her customers there so much that she worked through her battle with cancer until last month. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and caring for them in their younger years. She liked going for car rides, visiting picnics, listening to the band Rocket 88, and most recently, camping with her children and grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her children: Connie (David) Voss, Robert (Doreen) Nisleit, Jr., and Jonathan Nisleit; four grandchildren: Ryan Voss, Kaitlyn Voss, Joshua Nisleit, and Karlie Nisleit; her brother: Alan (Linda) Felsinger; and many other relatives and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, Sr.; her parents: Henry and Rose Felsinger; Robert’s parents: Alfred and Elva Sohn; and her brother: John Felsinger.

A funeral service is scheduled for 5:30pm on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call from 3:30pm until 5:30pm at the funeral home on the day of the service. There will be an opportunity for friends and family to share stories of Mary during the service. The family extends a special thank you to Judy Vande Voort for all of the love and support during mom’s journey.
I was sad to hear the news of Mary's passing. She always had some sass for me when I would come in the bar. I know how much she loved her family as it showed. Mary has no more pain but she will be missed!! God Bless her family, friends. patrons, etc. as we share the sorrow of her passing. My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to all of you as I wish I could have been there today but I was working.
