Michael Joseph Erspamer, Sr., age 69, passed away on September 22, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. He was born to James and Jane (Nimke) Erspamer on December 18, 1953.
Mike is survived by his daughters: Maggie, Bridget, Angie, Kim, and Monica; siblings: Linda, Jerry, Cindy (John), Jim, Jeff (Debbie), Dan, Velvet, Marsha, and Lisa (Rick); many grandchildren; long-term partner: Peggy; and a plethora of additional family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judy; son, Mike; sisters: Char (Ken), Sue (Keith), Dawn, and Mary; and granddaughter, Katelyn.
Mike was a spirited man and truly one-of-a-kind.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held from 11:00am until 2:00pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish Hall (435 High Ave.) in Oshkosh.

Mike was such a character and very nice man...I enjoyed talking a being goofy with him. I worked with Mike a number of years at Universal Foundry and reconnected about 5 years ago via Facebook. I could tell he was battling an illness and always worked to keep a positive attitude based on his comments. I'm glad he is no longer suffering. RIP Mike.

Oh Uncle Mike. You truly were one of kind. We weren't really all that close for a little while but I will always remember your big heart and showing nothing but love towards me throughout my whole life. Thank you for checking up on me and Ida periodically after Mom passed. You didn't need to do that but it was greatly appreciated. Say hi to everyone up in heaven. Love ya! Jeremy
