Patricia J Moon

Stockbridge WI

Patricia J. Moon, age 77, of Stockbridge, died on March 20, 2025, at her home. She was born September 3, 1947, daughter of the late Norbert and Irene (Mortell) Lisowe. She married her high school sweetheart, Jim Moon, on July 5, 1969, and together they raised three children.

Patricia worked at Tecumseh’s for 42 years and was a member of the Stockbridge American Legion Auxiliary.

Pat was always full of spunk and a little spitfire. She had such an uplifting spirit and always enjoyed putting smiles on people’s faces, especially with her special deliveries of her famous pickles,  cookies, macaroni salad, and of course her gifts of underwear. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Stockbridge and her faith ran very deep and very strong. She was considered the heart of her family, as family meant everything to her. Her three grandkids were her pride and joy. Along with her great grandchildren in her most recent years.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Jim; her children: Rhonda Lamers (fiancé, Mark), Randy Moon (special friend, Missy), and Rob Moon (fiancee, Maria); grandchildren: Allie (Justin) Schmahl, Spencer Lamers, and Maddie Lamers; great-grandchildren: Tucker Schmahl and Addison Schmahl; siblings: Raymond (Gloria) Lisowe and Joan (Richard) Leitner; in-laws: Connie Lisowe, Jerry (Gail) Moon, Sandra Goeser, Roxanne (John) Bieck; and her cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Norbert and Irene; Jim’s parents: James and Hilda Moon; a nephew: Jim Schaut; a brother: Chuck Lisowe; and a brother-in-law: Ronald Goeser.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at St. Mary of the Seven Dolors Catholic Church (120 Davis St.) in Stockbridge. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton, and from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at the church prior to funeral service. Vigil prayers will take place at the funeral home following Monday evening’s visitation. Patricia will be laid to rest at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Stockbridge following the funeral service. At the time of the service and following, there will be a link available at wietingfuneralhome.com for those wishing to watch a live stream or archived recording of the service, watch a memorial video, or see pictures of the flowers and gifts given to the family.

Patricia’s family would like to extend a special ‘Thank You’ to all of the nurses and staff at Compassus Home Care and Hospice, especially Tabitha, who graciously helped Pat and her entire family through this time.

God's blessings, to you Jim, and family. She was a wonderful neighbor. We had a lot of laughs, and maybe a beer or two. I would give the family, homemade sweet rolls and in return she always gave me Hanson's ice cream from Depere. Loved it! Her job is done, and now is the time to rest in the arms of our Savior.
