Phyllis A Geiser
Chilton, WI

Phyllis A. Geiser, age 69, of Chilton, died on Monday, October 22, 2018 at her home in Chilton.  She was born June 11, 1949 in Fond du Lac, daughter of the late Alfred & Eunice (Hostettler) Birkholtz.  She married James Geiser on April 26, 1969 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Stockbridge, and in her own best estimation, she surmised that they were “married too damn long.”, even though she thoroughly enjoyed every moment of adventure that marriage brought.

She worked for Tecumseh Products through most of her working career and cherished moments being a nanny to many children throughout the years.

In her younger years, Phyllis enjoyed playing golf and going bowling.  She was known for her trips to Walmart or Walgreens for quick pickups  because she knew the entire store.   She loved everyone she came across just as they were her own family and even welcomed pets in likewise.  Phyllis was also a master at making Strawberry Jam, because her grandchildren were under the presumption that she crushed the strawberries with her feet.  Her delicious concoction spread upon toast at breakfast is well known as “Toe Jam” by those who knew her best.

Survivors include her husband: Jim; her children: Shelly Geiser and her fiancé Dale Schreiber, Jason (Angela) Geiser; 9 grandchildren: Jacob, Caleb, Ethan “EE”, Jamie, Kendra, Rachel, Neleah, Zach, & MacKenzie; 2 great grandchildren: Oliver & Bailey; 2 sisters: Bonnie Weber & Cheryl (Ray “Toby”) Kramer; and her in-laws: Marlene Birkholtz, Bob (Janet) Kress, Lucille (Jerry) Hauser, Ann (Conrad) Kopitzke, George (Nita)  Geiser, Gerald (Shirley) Geiser, Joe (Pauline) Geiser,  Diane (Jim) Kasper, June Geiser, Rita (Glen) Pingel, Elizabeth (Dan) Hermes, Peter (Debbie) Geiser.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter: Amy Geiser; a brother: Gerald Birkholtz; mother- and father-in-law: Alois and Violet Geiser; in-laws: Jim Weber, Elmer and Barb Wagner, Tom Geiser and 3 nephews: David Weber, Christopher Kasper, and Gary Kress.

Funeral service will be at 5:00 pm on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 4:45 pm on Friday, October 26, 2018.
