Ralph A Lisowe

Brothertown WI

Ralph A. Lisowe, agę 65, of Brothertown, died on September 11, 2025, at Moments Hospice Nursing Home in Little Chute. He was born May 2, 1960, in Chilton, son of Melvin Lisowe and the late Lorraine Lisowe.

Ralph was definitely a music fan, especially live shows, whether it be big concerts or local bands at small venues. He enjoyed playing the King in “The Kin and I” when he was younger. He had an unusual passion: he was a falconer and loved training his birds and teaching them commands. He was always up for going for rides and talking to anyone he met, but some of his favorite time was spent with his EMT friends.

Ralph is survived by his father, Melvin “Putz” Lisowe: siblings: Donald (Nancy) Lisowe, Ronald Lisowe, Arthur (Karen) Lisowe, Kevin (Melissa) Lisowe, and Joan (Thomas) Walber; nieces and nephews: Brian, Brenda (Paul), Becky (Chad), Aaron (Amy), Chad (Amanda), Chris (Amy), Kelsey, Steve (Kim), Nick (Jordan), and Stacy; step-niece and -nephew: Katrina (Brett) and Eric; and best friends: Cindy Flaherty, John Kossmann, and Wendy Kunz.

Ralph was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Lisowe; a nephew: Matthew Walber; godfather: Alvin Schneider; godmother: Elsie Rahmer; a very dear friend: Marcus; and many aunts and uncles.

A funeral service will be held at 5:30 pm on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call from 3:00 pm until 5:15 pm at the funeral home prior to service. At the time of service and following, there will be a link available for those wishing to watch a livestream or archived recording of the service, watch a memorial video, or see pictures of the flowers and gifts given to the family on their website page provided through wietingfuneralhome.com

This morning, I found myself reflecting on memories after the loss of my cousin, I am reminded of the kindness and encouragement he showed me. Some may have seen him as unconventional, but to me he was a source of warmth, music, and love. He was always up for a good joke/laugh. From the time I was young, he encouraged me to sing just as much as my parents did, and we shared a bond through music that I will always treasure. I will never forget the joy of singing alongside his rich, beautiful baritone voice. I remember the first event I sang at with him, I had horrible stage fright and he stood there, singing from the deepest part of his soul and held his hand on my shoulder the entire time in that church. One moment that stands out forever in my heart happened after a devastating house fire. Without a word, he quietly slipped money into my purse to buy things for my son. When I realized what he had done , I assured him we were okay and I tried to return it, he simply smiled, winked, and said, “You better not.” That was who he was—generous, tender-hearted, and full of quiet strength. I will miss him deeply, but I will carry his encouragement, his voice, his kindness, and his memory with me always. Rest peacefully, Ralph. Today, I will sing for you and pray for comfort for your siblings and Dad.?? Go sing your favorite heavenly hymns with my Dad and your Mom. ??????
