Roger G Jandrey
Chilton WI
Roger G. Jandrey, age 64, of Chilton, died on March 27, 2024, at Aurora Baycare Medical Center in Green Bay. He was born August 31, 1959, son of the late Eugene and Shirley Jandrey. On January 12, 2002, he married Lori Rieder, adopting her two boys in 2003.
Roger had a love for old country music and old cars. He listened to Hank Williams, Sr. and George Jones and was known to sing along, even performing at karaoke nights at bars up north. Much to Lori’s surprise, his love of old cars led him to purchase a red 1936 Dodge in 2023. He was an avid hunter and cherished his time at the cabin up north for deer hunting with his family. His knowledge of hunting helped lead him to own Jandrey’s Gun Shop in Hollandtown. Faith was important to Roger and nothing meant more to him than his family, especially his grandchildren.
Roger is survived by his wife, Lori; his children: Jennifer Jandrey, Tyler Jandrey, Randi (Long) Jandrey-Xiong, Ethan (Mackenzie) Jandrey, and Isaac Jandrey; his grandchildren: Lauren Jandrey, Charles Jandrey, and Graelyn Jandrey; siblings: Lorna (Jim) Brach, Jody (Bill) Bowers, Dennis Jandrey, and Diane (Brian) Niven; Lori’s mom: Jean Rieder; in-laws: Scott (Phyllis) Rieder, Tom Deere, Robert (Patti) Rieder, Todd Rieder (special friend, Kim), and Jason (Susan) Rieder; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents: Eugene and Shirley; Lori’s father: Robert Rieder; a brother: Lyle Jandrey; a sister-in-law: Deb Deere; and a brother-in-law: Greg Ormsbee.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, April 8, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church (N9125 Military Rd.) in Kaukauna. Friends may call from 1:30 pm until 3:45 pm at the church on the day of service. At the time of service and following, there will be a link available to see a livestream of the service, watch a recording of the service in the future, watch a memorial video in honor of Roger, and to view flowers and gifts given to the family, on their website page provided by wietingfuneralhome.com
The family would like to thank the staff at Aurora Baycare Medical Center, especially nurse Melissa. Melissa was an angel sent to Roger on his final day on Earth.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in the name of Roger Jandrey. Memorials can be sent to Wieting Family Funeral Home c/o Roger Jandrey 411 W. Main St. Chilton, WI 53014

Condolences
Please accept our condolences as we are not planning a trip to Wisconsin from Southern Indiana, where we live. Did not keep in touch since moving to Indiana in 1981 as I would have liked. Life happens! I remember growing up many times visiting Rockford, Cheboygan, and later in Wisconsin. Roger, Dean Zeimer, and I spent many hours playing Sheephead when we would get together for various parties because we were too young to play with the adults. Of course there are other memories but playing cards is always the first remembered. Getting together with all my aunts and uncles and cousins is what I missed most because we live in Indiana. We will meet again!

May you be comforted by the knowledge that Roger is in heaven with our Savior. I enjoyed Roger’s Facebook posts, especially when he would sing hymns. I would sing along. Roger had such a great faith in our Savior and you could see it in his life.
