How does one begin to wrap their head around the totally unexpected loss of someone who was so young, dedicated, and such a strong pillar of her family, church and community? I worked closely with Tammy through the years while serving in various positions on St. Martin Lutheran church council. Her talents, organizational skills and multi tasking abilities were on full display during our 2002 building addition to St. Martin. Tammy moved next door when she was in 2nd or 3rd grade and we have been friends since. Although I moved away when I left for college, our friendship never diminished, it only grew stronger.
