Theresa M. “Terri” Raddatz, age 74, of Appleton, died on March 15, 2023, at Thedacare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. She was born June 1, 1948, daughter of the late Bill and Vi Van Rooy. She married Ronald Raddatz on July 12, 1969, and together they raised six children.

Terri loved painting and doing crafts, as well as growing flowers, especially sunflowers. She cherished being a grandma, attending grandparents day and special persons day at the grandkid’s school. She loved teaching and substitute teaching and she equally loved her job as quality control for Georgia Pacific. 

Terri is survived by her children: Tim Raddatz, Larry Raddatz, Stacy Raddatz, Jon Raddatz, and Teresa Raddatz; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren with another one on the way; and her siblings: Margaret (Craig) Hively, Joan (Gerald) Paalman, Lee (Barb) Van Rooy, and Mike (Donna) Van Rooy.

Terri was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; a daughter: Denise Marie Raddatz; her parents: Bill and Vi Van Rooy; a brother: Thomas Van Rooy; and a niece: Sarah Paalman.

A funeral service will take place at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home in Chilton.
