Virginia “Ginny” Marose, age 63 passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, August 26th, 2018 at her home in Springstead, Wisconsin after her brave battle with cancer.

Ginny was born June 1st, 1955 in Chilton, Wisconsin, daughter of Art & Margaret Daun.  In 1973, Ginny married the love of her life, Dennis “Grubby” Marose and together began their family in Stockbridge.

Ginny took great pride in her work; a dedicated employee at Chilton Metal Products for 24 years until she and her husband moved to their dream home in the north woods.  She then began a career at Simpson Electric where she worked for 20 more years.

Ginny enjoyed cleaning, cooking, baking, crafting, fishing, pontoon boat rides, Brewer trips, casino weekends, vacation trips and music festivals.  Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Ginny is survived by her loving husband of 45 years “Grubby”.  Her twins Scott (Tammy) Marose, Lisa (Chad) Karls, Shelly Halbach and Kelly (Steve) Johnson.  Her grandchildren Jenna & Dylan Marose, Chase & Landon Karls, Lukas, Madison & Dakota Halbach and Liam & Eli Johnson.  Her brothers Robert (Kathleen) Daun, Tom (Connie) Daun, Jeff (Joyce) Daun and sisters Ruth (Ken) Hedberg and Julie Daun.  Brothers-in-Law and Sisters-in-Law Ron (Nancy) Marose, Jerry (Donna) Marose, Wayne (Janice) Marose, Rick (Kathy) Marose, Nancy Woelfel (Sue Buechel) and Judy (Roger) Hidde.  Also survived by many Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Art & Margaret Daun, father-in-law and mother-in-law: Carl & Jean Marose, brother Gary Daun and nephew Steven Woelfel.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at St. Mary of the Seven Dolors, 120 Davis St. in Stockbridge, Wisconsin with a short service to follow the visitation.  

Any memorial donations will be given to the Hope Lodge in Marshfield, Wisconsin to help other cancer patients and their families in their time of need.
